I pray your letter makes it to President Trump’s desk. He would surely be blessed with your words of encouragement. Your word pictures always make the message memorable. Nancy

I like your reference to salt and pepper and the analogy between truth and lies. Politicians on both sides often lie, or as some might say, “stretch the truth.” Let’s pray that we will know the difference between what is truth and what is a lie.

As you stated, “God knows the truth.” The opposite of truth is a lie and the willful disobedience to God . . . or sin. Those who sin (sinners) are truth deniers. Satan is described in the Bible as the “father of lies,” and has been from the very beginning, when he lied to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. According to God’s Holy Word, we all are sinners, saved only by God’s grace. Until we see only God’s truth, and accept God’s gift of salvation, we live in sin.

But then, I’m not stating anything here that you don’t already know. Thank you, for writing this piece for all our benefits. We appreciate you!
