"Leap of Faith and into His Will" by Mary LaFrance

Every day our Motherland arises to greet the morning sun.  She prays each night, before the darkness tucks her in for an evening of rest.  She prays for each one of her 50 children and asks God to protect them all.  She also asks that God help each one of them find a way to turn back to Him, because they are stifled and broken down as the enemy is consistently on the attack.  Her heart is broken too, as she desperately holds onto the flag as if it were her security blanket, and the Constitution that is the birth certificate to identify herself and her children.  She tries to sing “America the Beautiful” to comfort her spirit, but she only gets to the end of the first line before tears fill her eyes once again.  She has been searching for at least one of her children to reason with, but they run and hide behind the false security of the ones who treat her with disrespect.  Our Motherland wants to know if any of her children still believe “In God We Trust”, and she asks that they be bold enough to fill social media with a resounding “Amen!” Her days are disappointing as her children are divided among themselves with hatred in their eyes for each other. Most days our Motherland feels like her 50 children have been taken away by the CPS (Communist, Progressive, Socialist) agency.  I pray that each one of her children, will stop running, and come back to be united under the shield and throne of God.  He is waiting with open arms if we ask Him to forgive us our sins.  If we could stop and remember how rich the blessings have been, as she has fed us, clothed us, provided jobs, housing, and we have been given the rights to life, liberty and so much happiness.  Our Motherland use to quickly remind us that our Pledge of Allegiance was so important because as we memorize it and recited it, we lived as “One Nation Under God.”  Our Motherland knew that she could not provide for each of her children alone, that is why she gave glory, honor, and praise to God Almighty. I am sure she dreams of the day, where once again her 50 children will be united, standing for truth, and above all else, seeking God’s face for discernment, wisdom, and much needed guidance.  What a glorious day it would be if all 50 children got on fire for Jesus, and each helped start a revival! Our Motherland would be so pleased that tears of joy would fill her eyes, because her prayers would be answered by our Good Father.  She could be at peace, with a proud and patriot heart, and she would be able to share with the world the good things about her 50 children again.
